Chloe sighed lightly as she pushed the large elegent front door open and her heels made a soft clicking sound as she made her way across the lovely marble floor. Her eyes scanned everything for as far as they could see. It was a marvolous hotel, and the people inside were just as elegent. She felt slightly under dressed in her travelling jacket and pants. Tucking an amber curl behind her ear she stood behind an older couple inline to get her room.

Anastasia was talking with one of the other hotel staff, waiting around the lobby until it was time to get ready for her next show. She had quite a long time to wait, though, and so she typically struck up conversation over coffee with one of the maids or sometimes other performers.
The girl who had just walked in looked out of place. For starters she was wearing pants- only men wore pants. The other girls she was talking to noticed right away and immediately began to gossip about her.
"Look at her!"
"Why is she wearing pants?"
"Only men wear pants!"
"Doesn't she have any self respect as a woman?"
Anastasia stayed quiet, though, preferring to listen to the women rant rather then partake. It was more fun to hear then to do in cases like this one. But then of course they had to involve her, promising her extra dollars if she'd approach the girl about it. She didn't see why not- its not like she would be vicious.
One of the girls, Chastity, pushed her over. She almost stumbled but caught herself, glaring at the girl. "Excuse me, but my friends and I were wondering why you chose..." she looked the girl up and down, "That outfit. It is unusual for women to wear pants, especially in this place."

Chloe raised an eyebrow slightly and looked down at her pants and then smirked a little looking back up at the girl. She was very pretty and elegant and should have intimidated her, though she didn't really. Chloe had grown accustome to people thinking her style of clothing odd. It wasnt that she didn't wear dresses and lovely outfits, it was just that when she wanted to travel, dresses and skirts were the farthest choice from her mind.
" Hmm? Oh my pants... yes.. well it was a rather long train ride. I'm up to visit my grandmother you see and I would prefer not having to sit on very uncomfortable seats for a lengthy peroid of time. As well as wear a rather uncomfortable dress." She smiled lightly at her." Dont worry though. I will not wear them again untill I leave." She smiled lightly." You can relay that to your gossipy friends." She motioned with her head to the group of girls.

To be honest, Anastasia was surprised that the girl owned a pair of pants at all. It was uncommon, and she was rather curious as to why the girl bought them in the first place and where she would have gotten them from, assuming that she didn't make them herself. Not that that wasn't an option- actually it was the most probable option.
"Ah." She said, nodding as she tersed the wrinkles out of her own skirt. It wasn't a terribly flashy outfit today; the show wasn't for some time and those outfits were certainly not the most comfortable things to flit about it, particularly not when one doesn't need to flit about it it.
It reminded her of a quote by her favorite French author and poet, Charles Baudelaire. "'The world only goes round by misunderstanding,'" She paused, "Baudeliare. Pardon our mistake."
A mix between a smirk and a smile crossed her face as the girl told her that she could relay it to her friends. She looked over her shoulder at the gaggle of impatient girls and couldn't help but laugh. "They aren't terribly discreet, are they..." She asked, mostly to herself.

The line had moved along slightly in their short conversation and the elderly couple a head of her were now making their way to the front desk. Chloe tilted her head slightly to the side as the girl talked about something, a quote it sounded like, and she couldn't help but smile at it. There was a lot of truth to it. Misunderstandings caused a lot of problems in the world but it only helped to make them stronger.
Taking a slight glance over her shoulder as well at the grils who were stairing at them, she smirked." They really are not." She smiled slightly at the girl next to her. " I am going to assume that they work here at the hotel?" She asked quitely glancing around a few more times. Farrow had told her to make sure she kept her eyes open, he wanted to use her youth to his advantage, how she wasn't quite sure.
